Sandy Girl
Needs Your Help!!!
|
What a Miracle Pup!!!
Sandy has a heart-wrenching story that you will be amazed by! A friend of a volunteer was in a local North Orange County city when they saw a car slow down, a door open, and a dog thrown out...LITERALLY THROWN OUT...and they didn't even stop to do it!!!
Because she was limping and thrown from a moving vehicle, she was quickly taken to our vet, as soon as we got the call Our wonderful vet (Dr. Mike Adam at Imperial Highway Animal Clinic in Yorba Linda) diagnosed Sandy with minor hip displasia in one of her hips, along with two bad knees that need surgery. If she was an old dog it would be one thing, but this is a nine-month old puppy that has so many years left to live!

Sandy is currently in a foster home with other dogs and children. She is doing great and has taken to them wonderfully! She is as sweet as they come!
Sandy's knee surgeries will cost us $750 each (thankfully we are given a 50% discount by the wonderful Dr. Adam!) She will also be spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. If you are interested in donating to her care, you can make a donation in two ways. For a tax deductible donation, you can use our PayPal link, found on this website. Please put Sandy's name in the notes section. To make a donation directly to the vet, you can reach them at 714-996-7610 (speak with Corinne, who will be handling the collection of donations to the vet) and tell them you'd like to donate financially to the care of Sandy (we will be scheduling her surgery this week) with Love 4 Canines.
Sandy also needs a permanent home. We will cover her two knee surgeries (at our vet) regardless if she has been adopted or not. Of course her recovery would be easier if she has her permanent home. If you are interested in adopting Sandy, please fill out an "Adoption Questionnaire" and put "Sandy Girl" in the dog's name spot.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us!
