Fred is a two year old Lab mix. Fred was rescued from a high traffic highway. Boy and was he a great find! Fred had little socialization as a pup and is now learning how to be a good canine citizen. He walks well on a leash, he likes to play with toys and loves rawhide bones. He is frightened of some men and looks to his people to tell him that they are ok. Fred can be on the shy side, so he will need a patient family that will let him sit and "observe" them during his adjustment period. Fred loves his crate, that is his bedroom. When life gets to much he goes to his room and snuggles up with his blankie. He also LOVES to snuggle with you in bed!!! Fred's ideal home is a quiet family, with no small children, not a lot of stranger foot traffic, and believes in crate training. If you have a crate and a blankie, then Fred is your man. He will be completely devoted to you and will be your best friend!!
