Cutie pie Promise was named because we promised his "owner" that we'd take care of him! He was on his way to being dumped at the pound with a request to euthanize him!!! Poor Promise was hit by a car and had surgery for his broken femur. His "owner" did not follow the vet's directions and when he found that the pin (used to hold his femur together) was coming out, he figured he just have him killed!!! Well, this little guy is the SWEETEST little guy and only about a year old! He is just a young man and deserves to live the rest of his life being spoiled and loved :-) We have had him looked at by our vet, a radiologist, and a surgeon. The all cucured that the pin needed to be removed and that there was probably infection from it moving back and forth. He has been put on antibiotics and the swelling came down almost instantly!!! He may or may not use his leg much, but he isn't bothered by it...you shouldn't be either :-) Please don't let this guy live without knowing the love of a family...he deserves to be loved and played with!!! We are also in need of a foster home for him if you are interested. He is fine with other dogs and loves everyone he meets!!! He also needs to find a home with his best buddy...Daisy!
