What a lovely little guy! We were on our first vacation from the rescue world when we came across this beautiful little guy wandering alongside the road in Arizona. Once we convinced him we were friendly (using hot dogs and cheese), he let us put a leash on him and load him up in the truck. This poor guy has probably never been showed love and been doted over! He had his first night in a hotel (once we coaxed him up the stairs) and just didn't know what to do! He only tried to potty inside one time...then waited until we took him out in the morning. As you can see by the photo, he had NEVER seen himself in a mirror and what a kick that was! He cried and yipped at himself and just didn't know what to think :-) This little guy, whom we named Rio, got to see the Grand Canyon, Sedona, Arizona, and many other places along the way! He is a DREAM in the car...just layed in the back seat and slept :-) By the time we got home, he got to jump in bed for the first time...and oh! what joy he had! He rolled around and burried himself under covers like he was in luxury!!! When he went to the kennel, he acted like he had never seen another dog before...now he is playing with his two new girlfriends (Biscuit and Raven). He is about a year and a half to two years old, has a cute docked tail that waves in the air when he is excited, and will be neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped this week. If you are looking for a dog that will give you his entire heart and will love you more than you can ever imagine...this is the guy for you!
