No longer just dogs...we have horses for adoption!!!

We are trying to find homes for four rescued horses. All four have worked at camps with children and are now ready for a retirement. They have all given many years to us humans, so it is now time for us to give back.

All four are seniors, but an exact age is not known. Probably in the 20 year old range. They are all thin, especially Mister. We will have their teeth floated and make sure they are current on vaccinations, including West Nile.

We are asking an adoption fee of $100 per horse, which will help us to take care of their feet, teeth, and vaccinations...that can be negotiable depending on each circumstance :-)

If interested in any of these four precious souls, please email for further information. The best email to use is love4k9z@mac.com

THANKS!!!

Clown is a flashy dun and white Paint. He is probably about 15.3 hands. He would make a nice companion horse, a horse for a small child to ride once in a while, or even to be used as a therapy horse.

Joey is a sweet bay with a white strip on his face and four flashy white socks. He loves to hang out with the gray mare, Nina! Joey is probably about 15 hands and would also make a nice companion horse, therapy horse, or a lead line horse for a small child.

Nina is a doll of a horse! She is the only mare of the bunch. Nina is probably only about 14.2 hands. She is the least thin of the four as well. Nina would make a good companion horse, lead line child's horse, or a therapy horse.

The saddest of the group is Mister. He is the thinnest and in the most urgent need. Mister was sent home from a camp when he got sick. Unfortunately he came home very thin and the vet said he should be put down because he was dying. Well, that was numerous weeks ago and he is doing just fine. He stands and eats most of the day and just hangs out. Mister is probably about 14.3 hands and I think it is his turn to simply be a companion horse for someone who wants the company of a horse and wants to keep him happy, and hopefully fatter, the rest of his life!
