LUCY: ADOPTED!!! Australian Cattle Dog AKA Blue Heeler AKA Queensland Heeler Lucy is a beautiful 3-year old Cattle Dog AKA Blue Heeler. She recently came out of the shelter on the same day as Ricky, so we are still getting to know them. Lucy is very sweet and affectionate. She is great with other dogs and although there are no guarantees, we think she MIGHT be potty trained! Lucy has a docked tail and weighs about 35-40 pounds. She is great in the car and when not in the car, she loves going for walks! Lucy has been spayed, microchipped, and fully vaccinated. Her adoption fee is $250. RICKY: ADOPTED!!! Australian Cattle Dog AKA Red Heeler AKA Queensland Heeler Ricky is a stunning 1.5-year old Cattle Dog AKA Red Heeler. He recently came out of the shelter on the same day as Lucy, so we are still getting to know them. Ricky is very sweet, but a little shy. He is great with other dogs and seems to be a quiet boy. Ricky has a docked tail and weighs about 45-pounds. He is great in the car and on a leash, going for walks! Ricky has been neutered, microchipped, and fully vaccinated. His adoption fee is $250. Ricky will be ready for his new home on Saturday, February 26th. ZUMA: ADOPTED!!! Australian Cattle Dog mix Our little Zuma is a precious gift to our rescue! This poor baby was found by some good samaratins after she was THROWN OUT OF A MOVING VEHICLE!!! Yes, it is 100% true!!! Her owner was contacted and he had no idea where she was :-( Well, we got her out of that shelter (luckily she had no injuries from getting tossed) and put her into a foster home. Zuma is a great dog! She is potty trained, low energy, and very social. Zuma is good with cats, dogs, and all humans. She is a little shy and submissive with new people, but she is always up for giving kisses. If you are looking for a dog that is going to want to sit and lay in your lap, go for a run, or just a nice walk...she is for you. Zuma will become attached to anyone who gives her enough attention and will follow you around. She is great on leash but will also follow you around off leash pretty well. She doesn't seem to care about other creature, cats, squirrels, other dogs. She plays a little with others dogs, but doesn't seem to care too much about playing. She is a great dog and will easily fit in with any family or single person! Did I mention she loves to sleep, is crate trained, and can stay at home by herself just fine... No chewing, barking, or whining! She only weighs about 20-25 pounds. Zuma has been spayed, microchipped, and fully vaccinated. Her adoption fee is $250.
